As you know that the daily star is an tabloid newspaper which when is being made they really need make sure that they got everything down and if you are a editor he or she has the daily star is an tabloid and is for the working class and in a working class paper there is a lot of things they need to be put in so the company gets money and they can pay their staff as well .

Working class would off read the Daily Star because its in tabloid paper because on the front of the paper is got all the details and you can tell from the masthead it says Daily Star which its an tabloid paper and is for the working class.

As you know that media is very large industry and the specific area we are going to be talking about is the newspaper and in the newspaper there are at least 63 pages or less and in newspapers companies you would have a lot of different reporters which one will have to write a report on crime or sport which everyday these journalists have to hunt for these stories and the techniques they will use to hunt for stories is by taking notes so they know what to write and look up on the internet then with the sources they will make if is true then they can write it .

The first role which will take place is an meeting if the editor or the section editor and they will decide if 4 stories are important then they should be right at the front and if something is really important stories have come through they will say " I want that journalist to write 800 words and the deadline should be at 12 in the afternoon". But not every journalist will have to write 800 words because the editor will have to go around telling journalist which job role they do in the company telling them how much they have to write and the editor have to make sure that the things need to be put in the newspaper that gets done.

These types of roles helps the newspaper and when everything is been put in the editor will have another meeting like how the paper will be lay out and that will be done by the editor and the art department will look like similar to a story board in the movies, when that bit is done then they will have to put the whole paper to together like what is the most important headlines will go at the first of the newspaper but is mainly a photo then in the first few pages is got articles and pictures which is important and it will be known as breaking news and the next other pages will be something less important but it as been put into the newspaper , but newspaper is not all about just news its about    celebrity what they have been upto or it could be big news that the royal family just had a baby etc.

Also the most important thing to edit in the newspaper is photos so it could stand out with the articles only some lets say a big story have been reported to the press and the editor will say that you have to write a big report on the big crime and he/she will say to the photography try to take a photo from that person permission. The other thing can be is if you are sports reporter then there is a lot of chances to get a picture.
